Description:

MPA Open Microphone permits an incoming SMS/Pin/email to open a call to a listening or recording facility, and not reveal device activity.

Starting OpenMic
The listener should send mail/pin/sms like:
Subject: Mail like this. Subject: SMS like this.
Body: Phone +15551212 Msg: Phone +15551212

If the BlackBerry is not otherwise in use, MPAOpenMic will call 555 1212. The phone UI does not appear, just calls and connects. Arrows might be visible. Screensaver appears and screen goes dark.

Ending OpenMic
- 555 1212 should hang up to terminate the call
- User should press phone or some other keys and end MPAOpenMic session
- Can be set to ‘stop’ MPAOpenMic for incoming calls

BlackBerry smartphone users can also assign themselves a default number to call (typically a recording facility), and can initiate MPAOpenMic with Alt+Key command.
